Holy hell I despise this place with every fibre of my body. Maybe even more so than the village. Seriously. Fuck that giant clump of trees and dinosaurs and other stupid outdoorsy shit.
… Anyway. We have located all of the gates in this zone.
1. In the "forbidden jungle" there is a wate- w- a large mass of falling dihydrogen monoxide. We believe there is a portal if you manage to climb up and around it, but the climb is difficult and very dangerous.
2. There is a portal inside one of the obelisks. We believe it's inside of the one that "doesn't open" when you put your hand to it. It's in the "initial" jungle. Look, I'm bad with directions. I think we called it the bluff. Alex Kinley has managed to go through it once – we were unsuccessful. Alex, how did you operate it?
3. To the east and then to the North, around the General's "base", there is a sealed gate next to a shattered stone. We could not figure out how to fix it.
4. In the mountains to the West… Or was it to the East… One of the mountains - when you reach the top you can see an even bigger certain death of cascading liquid. There, there is another gate, but you need to jump from the top of it and then hope you don't miss the gate on your way down. At least I think that's what it was. I was looking in the other direction most of the time. I lost all interest very quickly.
5. In the same mountains there is a cave. Inside there is a gate which I think leads to "Canada" or something. On the other side of the gate, it's a tight squeeze as you try and make your way through all the mud and tight spaces. Then you have a very long climb up. It's also quite dark. Once you reach the top, you must choose: left tunnel or right tunnel or a long bridge. The left tunnel leads to more snow and coldness – I'm assuming "Canada". No idea where the right tunnel goes to. I'm assuming more Canada. Across the bridge and on the other side is a… manhole or one of those door things that you turn. Look, I was a bit preoccupied not freezing my tits off. Anyway, through that is Burlington a.k.a. not a hellhole.
To the East is one of Zog's Generals – the one with four arms. He has a pretty substantial army with dinosaurs and weapons and all sorts of things that will make you want to cry. They also have some kind of giant, one kilometre wide circle which we think is some kind of gate or teleportation thing. Maybe for the dinosaurs. Who knows. I didn't look. If anyone's an expert marksman, we might be able to take him down with a long-ranged sniper shot. I can get to work on this eventually assuming I haven't lost my damn mind.
Also, if you're in need of food, there are some giant ass tomatoes and carrots around in the forest. Keep an eye out for them if you're hungry. There is also a quaint little cave that you can use as shelter. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see the little makeshift "cover" made of leaves and whatnot next to it.
Lastly, the swamp sucks. Don't go there. Dinosaurs are waiting in the murky horrors of precipitated mass.
There was more but I'm too busy trying not to lose my shit right now. Ask Glenn or Dayna (Dana?) if you want more information.
