Has anyone ever tried fortifying a Clems, or building walls around one?
Wondering if it might be possible to do walls around the Clems in Alien Apocalypse, so Kims people can defend it better against the scruffy fucks. We have a labor force there to move materials and assist afterall....
Thoughts?

That's what the people in Kinleyville did (though a bit extreme). Honestly I don't see the point in defending Clem's since only DORAs can even use it. So what will we be defending it from? Someone ambushing us when we appear or destroying the shop so we can't go back? Fair enough, sure. Setting up some kind of defence would probably be a good idea, especially in Alien Postapocalypse as you mentioned. Maybe not so much in other zones where people are unaware of the abilities of the barbershop. Know anyone who can teach them how to build a wall?

Unless it's a firewall I'm not really that good at building walls… But I like your thinking.

Need, no. Want, probably.
My understanding is: when we walk shadow we have no control where in the world we end up. With Clems, we know.

That and it's a pain in the ass to shadow walk without some form of vehicle.

I think he's referring to the chances of being separated from a group, while shadow walking together, are less likely.

Walking the pattern is not the same as shadow walking. Whenever you Shadow Walk, you need to travel a large distance before you can shift to the zone you're trying to go to. The faster you cross that distance, the faster you Shadow walk, so obviously being in a vehicle would be faster than walking (walking takes approximately 2 days). And then, even if you do succeed, there's no telling where in that zone you may end up. Burlington is by far the safest destination as it's only a small city so you'll know where you'll be. Shadow Walking to MMO Land – bad idea. Unless you feel like going on a long adventure. Trust me. I've done it. However, if you have a fast enough vehicle (like a flying car), then it doesn't matter as much where you end up. The only thing you then need to worry about is if your vehicle will work in your destination zone.

If we agreed to travel to a certain area before shadow walking wouldn’t we all go to the same location?

You don't actually need to agree on the destination. Only the person Shadow Walking has a say. You're just there for the ride. If you don't want to go there, don't go with them.

we have 2 barber poles... if we find someone with architecture who can make a blue print of an existing clems... we can then build one and use the pole to "power" it. Also, there's a last chance saloon near the firewall that has a literal "back door" to Ghostwheel... the mechanism that controls the pocket dimensions we are from...
