While Logan is definitely one of my favourite GMs to ever get to play with, I think the majority of people would be put off by this, especially new players who Logan is looking to recruit. $10 per session might not seem much to you but you have to remember that everyone has a different financial situation that they are in, and for them $10 might be the difference between paying the bills. When you consider that many people play 2-3 times a week, that adds up, and it may in fact just discourage them from playing at all. I can already foresee people getting into the mindset "I need to do this and this and this in order to get my money's worth or else I'm just wasting my money".
I think it would be more reasonable to ask for a one-off payment per season. X amount and you can sign up to as many games as you like for the season. But, again, new players simply won't be into that. I know I certainly would not have signed up if I knew that money was involved. Now that I've had the pleasure to play with Logan and everyone else I would be more inclined to give something back, but even so when you start mixing business with pleasure things can get really awkward.
I'm definitely in your boat though. Logan should get something in return for all the time and effort he puts into entertaining us.
Just as an example of how much Logan would have earned this season alone using your proposal: 51 games, 3 people each (usually), call it 150 people who gamed - $1500, $500 a month. If one person played 20 games, that would be $200 for that person alone. Quite a bit even if it is spread over three months.
There has to be a more tactful way of showing our appreciation.

Right - here's what is what I would like and have asked for in the past that costs ZERO MONEY and KEEPS LOGAN FROM BURN OUT. And it hasn't been done at all so far as I know...
a) advertise the podcast on stuff other than facebook. (If we can grow the listeners to enough people, I can get money from advertising costing people zero money.)
b) have people occasionally volunteer to run a one off. This is the easiest campaign to run a one off. You make your own zone. The PC's appear there for unknown reasons, do your shit then appear back in the normal campaign. It would TOTALLY FIT.
[Note - Freddy and Pete HAVE pulled the cart by making the lovely character sheet we all know and love. though I still want Pete to run a game.]
Imagine how much more diverse and interesting the game would be if everyone playing only ran ONE game per season. Just ONE per three month season. Not 'think about it', not 'wait for inspiration to strike', not 'wait till I have time or inclination' - just fucking run one.
Here's what I'm now thinking: People who GM one game (or do what Freddy and Pete did - they made a character sheet I very much like and everyone is using) get priority sign up for the next session. If you don't, you still get to play - but everyone who did signs up first. In that way, we get some other people running stuff every now and then.
I'm liking that.

It's a shame the facebook thread ( and original post) got deleted because I think quite a few people took the time to post some thoughtful opinions.
I like Alex's idea of donating. Everyone's in different places financially, so it would be a shame to see some people get elbowed out of playing some sessions because they cant afford it.
Jana and Alex both also made very wise points about introducing money can change the whole dynamic of the game.
I agree with TJ wholeheartedly that it would be great for Logan to get some reward for being a killer fucking GM. So those of us that agree, let's just put our money where our mouth is and just do it. Make it an occasional or regular donation, like a Patreon kinda thing.

I'd like a whiskey gram but for the diversity of the campaign (and to keep money out which had way too big of impact on a previous campaign) - thinking about doing:
"Here's what I'm now thinking: People who GM one game (or do what Freddy and Pete did - they made a character sheet I very much like and everyone is using) get priority sign up for the next session. If you don't, you still get to play - but everyone who did signs up first. In that way, we get some other people running stuff every now and then."
By running for people you are (unless you suck in which case you'd better figure out some other way of contributing to the team) giving to the team. Those people get rewarded by getting to sign up before people who 'couldn't be asked' or were just lazy.

Logan if you are concerned about GM burn out you could always cut back on the amount of days you run the game. You could eventually just say Hey im all for having a game on say Thursday and Friday as long as someone else is running it 😏

If you're pointing that out as a barely touched area that people could contribute to as well as GM'ing, I concur. But note, it would have to be quite an info dump etc. Like if someone transferred all of the old notes from the IG board to there and whatnot.
