To follow up on our facebook discussion on whether the game would get in trouble for showing the images that Logan uses in roll20: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_ID_(algorithm)I am obviously not a lawyer, but since you just use still images as part of a larger program I think that you don't have anything to worry about as far as copyright troubles go. That being said, some images are trademarked. I think trademarked images would still be fair use, but I would avoid using those just to negate the possibility of being hassled.

Many of the images I use are or could be trademarked. Best to just avoid it all. The images are just for the players - the story and players actions are what should really count. Also, they can often times afford lawyers (or at least to threaten me with them) - I can't. Also, youtube will often take down stuff for the most petty of things. I've been watching a few other channels struggle with them. I'd rather avoid the entire ball of shit.

It might be worth it to take a look around and see what other streamers are doing.

Have. They're usually avoiding anything that can get them demonetized by Youtube and avoiding copyright issues.
