1. There is a man going by the name of McLearly Clonkon in Gothic who is claiming that The White Dove is haunted by evil spirits and strongly advises us to have them exorcised before doing any building. He said, after we questioned him a bit, that it would cost between 5000-10,000 silver. We are not too sure about the validity of his claim, though we did question The Chancellor of The Fortress who McLearly had done work for and he claims that the spirit that was haunting the fortress is gone after it had been exorcised. I had a look with my magic seeing glasses to see if there was anything in the white dove and yes, there definitely seems to be some sort of "dark magic" in the area mixed with all sorts of other different types of magic. Whether or not any of it is harmful or would affect us, I do not know. The Great Wandoon (spelling?) also believes/has heard that the building is haunted. He is some sort of potion maker. <addresses of all the aforementioned places here>. You may wish to speak to him and find out a little more.
2. We have discovered that the magical seeing glasses that you can get in Gothic are worth roughly 600 Bloodnotes each. The price for them in Gothic is 12 gold. 600 BN is roughly 300 gold. I'll let you do the maths on the rest. To replace the Crys in them is 40 silver (20 for the Crys, 20 for the job). The magic retailers were very keen on getting more of these. Get me some money <3.
3. We bought a few magical items (sorry, we did not get a bag of holding). In order to use them you must first activate them and they last until sunrise/sundown before they need to be activated again. Activating them requires proficiency in certain magical schools (such as Combat, Construction, Clairvoyance, etc) and a certain amount of magical mojo. They work similar to spells in that regard. Once activated, you can use whatever effect they have, otherwise you can continue trying until you deplete your mojo reserves. They have a limited lifespan and will only work for <until the end of the season>. The items we bought were: see in the dark sunglasses, shield, paintbrushes, ever wet paint pallet, ring of element (fire, in this case), and an everlit pipe (there may have been one other item that Joshua bought which I can't remember right now). The paintbrushes make any paintings you create look a lot more professional. The shield protects you from magic and human propelled projectiles up to a certain damage threshold. Once it reaches this threshold you must then take it back to the magic sellers to have it recharged. Good item if we can figure out how to charge them ourselves or figure out a way of making them last longer so we don't need to keep going back to get them recharged. The pipe just stays lit. We didn't experiment with the other items yet.
The total cost of what we bought was a little over 24,000 BN. The owners seemed a little suspicious when they took a look at our notes but we managed to distract them with other business and they soon forgot about it.
One other item which seemed super interesting to me was some sort of bag of replication. You pick an item no larger than a tennis ball and the bag is capable of reproducing (though not exactly, there are imperfections, so counterfeiting is not possible) it. We do not know the exact limitations/specifications. Gold coins would not be made of gold etc. But you could reproduce things like apples and whatnot. Might be worth looking into. (One bag per item. The people selling it need to know what it is so they can "put it in" or something. Not sure exactly how that works).
4. My laptop blew up. Again. Can you get me another one if you get the chance in cyberpunk? It cost around HK$50,000 last time. Here are the specs <blah>. Maybe also get a couple garbage, supercheap computers as well just in case.
