I'm inspired. This gives me an idea for a TV show we can pitch...
*** Coming this Fall on the DIY network: Fixer Upper - Multiverse Edition
Client: I need a 3br bungalow close to Melbourne. Realtor: Have you considered Greenland? Very cheap. Client: But I need a place in... Realtor: What about 40 years ago, in another universe? Client: ... Realtor: I'll schedule a showing. ***

Red Carpet era Ohio you could have gotten a house like that in town for 80-100K. Or a fixer-upper for ~10k. 1980s era would be less, and rural would make it even less. I'd estimate 50k for that house. Unless you own the woods too, if there was some serious acreage that could bump it up to maybe 100k. Aeolus had previously done research on house prices in another zone and this was apparently accurate according to the research. It did seem a bit steep to me.

It's strange... different era's, countries, worlds, and universes have economies as varied and diverse as the species that inhabit them.
For example, if you wanted to buy a 3br house or small warehouse(with fire extinguishers) in or around Bartertown, what currency and what amount would you expect to get you the best deal?
(Tune in to the next episode of Fixer Upper - Multiverse Edition to find out)

Vorus's transportation infrastructure is nonexistent; therefore, its economy is garbage; therefore, its housing/real estate prices should not be inflated; therefore Freddy got ripped off. QED.
