Sounds like our disappeared agent with the arrow wound in Heekaw was from Guri.
He had tech from different eras. For example, wearables such as the payment ring had existed for at least four years in the world I came from (~2022 was my last year in my former life)
People will pick up tech from all over, whatever's useful...but I can't see anyone carrying around those food pellets unless they were raised on them. Also he seems to type match to their bounty hunter subculture.
The blue camo clones have been spotted here. I approached one of them and asked what the logo they were wearing is (the red swastika-looking one) and they told me it was a company called Black Briar. Did not look into it further as some of them could potentially recognise me.
We also saw some of the Elves from the North Pole (just dressed differently) walking around. Why? No idea. Did not talk to them. They might have wanted to cut off another one of my fingers again. I don't know. Maybe next time.
A bit of information on trading etc.
- You need a licence if you want to sell anything. It costs 2000 credits [per season] to get a trader's license. - 1 gram of Gold is worth 10 Credits (25 grams to a gold coin). The price may have dropped since we flooded the market with about 200 kg of it… - 1L of water is worth 10 credits. Not sure if they would pay more for more "refined/clear" water as the one they have is recycled and tastes not as fresh. - There is a huge liking of livestock (cows, horses, chickens, pigs, etc) as there is not much of that there and they like tasty, real food (but they don't like spices for fuck knows what reason. Cretans). We bought 10 baby chicks for $30 from Shermer and sold them for 750 credits. You may get more depending on your selling capabilities. Note that the animals may die (they didn't for us) when transporting them to this zone for some reason. Not sure if there is a way of minimising this risk. - Trumps do NOT work. At all. Neither going in or out. - The spaceship we bought costs roughly 4 Million credits. - Basic "C-3P0"-like robots cost 10,000 credits. - A fully furnished, 3D printed 3-bedroom house costs 16,000 credits. - Do not mention to White (she is a "Fixer" at the Private Room… Or whatever it was called. Some kind of bar. You'll know who she is when you see her – she is very white) that you are in any way associated with "investigators". She will not offer you any work. Otherwise, if you have a vehicle, weapons and the appropriate licences, she may have some jobs for you. - The Kingsman Tailors: if you want some "special suits" made (I'm assuming some spy shit or whatever) you'll be asked a question about etiquette. If you answer it correctly, you will be allowed to purchase some of their specialty goods. They are quite expensive. The normal clothing is about 5000 credits. If you get it wrong, you can brush up on your etiquette knowledge and try again at a later date. - A 4-pack body cam costs 200 credits. This is the minimum most people seem to be wearing. It's another 200 credits for a subscription to the upload service [for the season]. - You don't need to buy another guide from Corb. We have already uploaded a copy of his guide. Might not want to mention that as who knows what kind of laws they have against copyright infringement. - Nobody seems to use slugs as guns. Everything is one type of a laser or another. They also seem to have unlimited charges… Not sure how that works exactly. We got one each as part of our Ship deal. They refer to them as Blasters.
Hm. So Blue now looks like Dr Morton? He didn't look like him before? Was/is Morton Blue's servitor?
From what I can briefly recall that others have told me, Blue is all about magic, right? Or am I getting my colours mixed up. I know Indigo is all about technology (we "spoke" to him briefly in Cyberpunk). If so, what's Blue doing in such a high-tech zone such as Guri?
If anyone with credits in Guri gets a chance, we need some more rad-away and some more anti-radiation vats. The rad-away is 550 credits per dose (tax included) and the vats are 110 per use (tax included). They can be bought from <"Rad Be Gone!">. Another 5 doses and 5-10 vats should suffice for another excursion into the Deathclaw Desert for when we go to get the armour again. You can find a full manifesto of what's on board the Raven here.
Also, Glenn, I'm not sure if you're aware when you purchased the new "parking spot", but that will only last until [the end of the season]. You may wish to extend it along with the food, power etc package.
