Someones using him... that gives me the idea that some of our investigators should look into who was running the asylum or treating him when he escaped from in The Village.
I think we ought to try the medically induced coma and then have Dr Yang or Mildred do an "inception" on him, like in that movie with Leonardo DiPizzaplace.

I… Well, I suppose in his own twisted way he is trying to help us to escape. If that is the case, it would be interesting to hear his answer to the question "why do you care about us?" He is going through an awful lot of trouble to "help" people he barely knows. Or does he? Maybe knows different versions of us? Is that how he got those drawings? Or, as Mildred pointed out, perhaps someone is using him, and they gave him the drawings. Either way, who would have motive to try and kill us in such a way? Let's see…
Amberite? Unlikely. Why employ such a weak "assassin" compared to what Amberites are normally capable of? Courts of Chaos? Even more unlikely. We haven't had too many run-ins with them aside from Justice. And I don't think Justice wants us dead given how much he wants us to create a Logrus. So, which person from "our universe" have we pissed off who is still alive that would try and kill us using this method? Nobody immediately springs to my mind.
I think Raslen is right – we should look into how exactly he escaped from the Village and who was overseeing/treating him.

Looked into The Joker and the Village. He had appeared there, wearing the appropriate Village clothing, (with the green hair and makeup) and started attacking people with a screwdriver. He was captured and put into a cell in the psychiatric ward. He disappeared from the locked cell a couple of days later.
We examined his bloodied clothes and they looked the same as those from the Village (same stitching etc). Examined the cell and nothing out of the ordinary (no stretches on the walls, nothing unusual about the bed and so forth). We suspect he killed himself to escape.
Separate to the cell we also found that the head doctor was concealing some things, a symbol none of us were familiar with painted on the wall elsewhere in the hospital, as well as some other symbols drawn on paper (which I have). We replaced the head doctor with the second in charge who will report any other things such as these and any other unusual things.
