Two things:
First, it is the PC's responsibility to immediately have stats for the ship such as they are. If the GM has to say look up cargo space then the answer is always "It won't fit".
Second, the ship LOOKS LIKE a standard firefly model. The propulsion methods used in the zone it is in are totally different. In other words if you are like "Hey, we're trying this obscure thing I found in the show/comics/talking to Joss/whatever that I didn't check with you DAYS IN ADVANCE ON - no. It works totally different. Just FYI.

I remember the Silhouette game fondly... it was fun, even if we did grind ourselves into one of the plots

The cargo bay room is 4500 cubic meters. That makes for about 3000 cubic meters of actual cargo capacity by Logan's math.
...
I want to reiterate how terrible an idea it is to keep the shuttle inside the cargo bay. It defeats the purpose of having a shuttle if you can't launch it without killing everyone on the ship. Furthermore, even if it technically fits through the airlock, it's going to be a tight fit. Threading a needle puts it lightly.
So please keep the shuttle docked in the exterior shuttle berth where it belongs.

I see no reason why the shuttle would be in the cargo bay unless it was under repairs or whatever. It has its own berth.

A thought: You may want to add "Spacesuit Operation" to the "WTF? Skill" card. I think zero-g ops is already on there.

I will put that under my 'card ideas' thing as going and editing a card is a PITA. It will be on a new card at some point. Maybe we can even expand it into a whole 'space - the final frontier card'.
Space Suit Operation Zero G Ops (I don't mind some overlap) Pilot vehicle, space - futuristic (choose size) Fire Space ship laser Fire Space ship torpedo Astronavigation
What else?

(PC's rarely take or use tactics, some of that can be covered under astronav and there are three reasons I would never ask for an asteroid field roll - first in actual space the distance between stuff is more than the distance between the earth and the sun - disappointing I know but in movie asteroid fields it would be a lot of piloting and unpredictability. Third reason is I'd forget or not have anything good for making it..)
So I'll take this stuff for a new card that will get made after enough 'to be made' cards get assembled.

Someone asked for the specs:
Dimensions (LxBxH): 191 x 128 x 53 feet. Tonnage: 2,400 tons. Crew Quarters: Two double, three single cabins. Passenger Capacity: Four double cabins aft of #2 hold. (Presumably, these will all also be claimed by "crew" (PCs). Also we can convert the 2nd shuttle berth into more cabins if necessary. Fuel Capacity: 60 tons (600 hours). Cargo Capacity/Maximum Deck Load: 400/460 tons in hold #1.
