Seems that a fair few guest GMs (myself included) tend to overrun because there is too much shit that needs doing during the adventure. A talk about how to write enough interesting stuff that will only go on for about 5 hours may be beneficial.

Points for Logan to remember to talk about:
If you are doing an intro - you get 1-2 minutes of talking. Max. If you are still talking after that, you are doing it wrong. Prep less - remember you can always let the PC's come up with more stuff to do. Tighten up the plot as much as possible - you've only got 5 hours.
Modular building (pieces take out, put in) Random encounters without a fucking chart if need more, leave out if need less.
