If you didn't get on the schedule, consider sharking in.
What is 'sharking'?
On game days an hour or two before (not before that) game time starts, people might send me a message on Facebook saying they are 'sharking'. That means that if someone doesn't show up, you get their spot.
I take sharks in the order they send me messages.
At 2:15 PM (London time) if someone hasn't shown, they are replaced. (If there is a shark and they got replaced then show later, too bad - they're out of luck. If no shark, we will work them in.)
Generally, people are pretty punctual in this campaign.
If you don't get a message by 2:20PM, generally speaking there is little hope about getting in. Though I try to send off quick messages, I may accidentally forget because I am busy GM'ing.
Sometimes if an emergency comes up mid game for one of the players (house on fire, one of their kids manages to rip their own arm off, whatever) and the player has to go, I will contact any sharks to see if they're around.
Generally, people don't have emergencies who play in this campaign but shit happens.
[Note for new players - you need to have gone through the steps of making a character and doing a sound/video check before sharking.]
