Can you play skill cards on stat rolls? Is there any instance where you would get a bonus or penalty to the stat roll?
If yes to either/both, then how is made it by x3, x2 or whatever determined?
eg Will is 10. Need to make a willx5 roll. There is a bonus of +10 to the score
Target is then 60%
So is making by x3 then 30 or 36 or 40???

With regards to skills at least, the way the roll works at the moment is:
Skill Value + Multiplier (0.25, 0.5 or 1) + Any Bonuses/Penalties (+10%, -20%, etc). In that order.
So making a Climbing roll at half with a skill of 50 and then adding +10% on top of that would mean 50/2 = 25+10 = 35.
So if we were to apply the same logic to stats, Willpower of 10 at X5 = 50, then we add any bonuses/penalties. At least that's how I've always interpreted it to work.

For certain stat rolls lower is better. eg healing when resting. So you make a willx5 roll and depending on how well you make it, affects how much HP you get back over night. As such determining how by 4 or by 3 et al are calc when there is a bonus added is quite important.

The player could play a skill +10 (I know stats aren't a skill but fuck it) and now they need a 50 or less. You could do the 'made by half or neg 30' thing here because if the GM asked for a will x4 and you got a will x3, great - it's still a success. A pass fail by half quarter more impressive. PS: Found the rules question!
