Should the minimum skill in something be 'learn' even if 'learn' goes up? At first it wasn't because it might be confusing but with these new character sheets...
If you make a check in something and it fails to go up through bad rolls, you could just leave the value at learn.
Thoughts?

I don't understand.
Skill is Learn which is 15. Learn goes up to 16. Skill is still at learn and is now 16.
Is that what you mean? Or?

Billy has a learn of 10. Billy picks up a new skill "Dutch Painting Masters". His skill up makes it 11% total.
Billy's learn goes up to 20. What is Billy's "Dutch Painting Masters" skill? Is it still at 11% or did it go up to 20% because his learn did?
Old way it would still be at 11% - once you get a skill, it locks it in.
Under new way considering/proposing the minimum skill would always be 'learn' stat.

Personally, I would have it so that your learn is the minimum at all times. Unless you want to keep it the other way for balancing purposes (not that I know what those would be).

Learn can go down too.
(It's kinda BS to retain the "Equalization" card in a 3-stat system, by the way.)

Yeah - move all skills under your current LEARN up to learn and down again if your life sucks and your learn goes down because life is hard.

Important note for everyone: instead of manually typing in your learn value in the box, just type @{Learn} and it will use whatever your learn is automatically, even if it changes at a later date.

Learn can go down too. (It's kinda BS to retain the "Equalization" card in a 3-stat system, by the way.) Disagree. We have several players that have maxed out two or more of those stats. In addition, there are various ways sprinkled throughout the campaign for raising stats. It is not my fault that the PC's don't explore. Or, start to explore a little bit and give up. Or get distracted. Or killed and eaten. Regardless, the equalization cards remain.
