Suggestions for new Inventory Design?

I don't know about you guys but I'm not a huge fan of the way the Gear section on the character sheet in Roll20 is designed. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to improve it? Make it a bit neater and easier to use.

Has it been tested to your satisfaction that it's not losing any gear? If so, cool yes - arrange it how ever people want.

Due to the players carrying so much stuff (you know who you are) I'm wanting gear that they have to appear on the gear list - otherwise their gear will not be with them. That way I can have stuff going on with the gear if wanted.

Can do. May get quite cluttered though with multiple things like trumps. We can give it a test drive in a separate tab. Or maybe have what we have now and a text box underneath… That may work best.

Have you had a look at other char sheets in roll 20 to see how it's laid out on them?

Yes, as a matter of fact. Most of them are either really small similar to what we have or just plain old text boxes. I'm trying to find something to help compartmentalise/keep things in order a little better.

Maybe some categories: ID's, Trump, Weapons, etc.

We could use categories in the write-in section too. Languages, Lore, etc. It gets a little hard to find that specific lore skill or language skill when it's buried in your other write-ins in no particular order. I remember Matty taking about 3 minutes trying to find a particular "lore" skill that he knew he had, for instance.

This is certainly possible, although the way I do it for my own skills is I just reorganise them alphabetically. I don't know if everyone is aware, but if you click the Modify button at the bottom, you can click and drag your skills up and down to your liking. A bit of a pain if you have a lot, but once you organise them alphabetically once, you only need to do minor adjustments if you get new skills.

Personally I have my Languages in the right column and use the first and second for other write-ins.

But, if you think having specific categories for things like Languages and Lore would be of more benefit, I can certainly put it on the to-do list.

Sectional, like the spell sheets. With editable and default black header lines.

So start with a main section, and then provide sections for ID's, Trumps, perhaps weapons, etc.
