When they get time (aka probably after the holidays):
Does Vassal (where the HC cards live) have a Google Hangouts plug in?
Can Vassal and Google Hangouts be run concurrently if they don't?
How to record the sessions on Google Hangouts. Will the cards also be seen? Do we want them to or just the smiling faces of the players?
Oh hell yes we want everyone on visual as well as audio for the next game.
How to also record just in audio or take the visual and strip it down to the audio.
How to edit the visual and audio.
Preferably all with free programs.
[Note - the plan is to be able to have both a visual game package as well as an audio only version. This is to market. If Logan can make enough money from the game to pay for storage, hosting, etc - good. If Logan can make enough money to actually set up a base regularly - better. More gaming for everyone.
If Logan can make 'phat l00tz' then he can actually travel around, set up recording gear in different countries and play with people all over the world.
If Logan becomes freakishly rich, he can bring gamers to him. And take money baths.
Oh, money baths.

If the plan is to stream via Twitch, it is in real time, so you don't need editing at that stage. You can use programs like Xsplit or OBS to stream what is happening on your computer - that means google hangout, vassal, etc. Cool people have various overlays made for the campaign so it looks a bit more professional. Twitch records these sessions. Some people than split these recordings in chunks and upload them on youtube too, to get some ad revenue money (very little unless you have loads of followers) and also because of marketing like you said. New people can find you trough youtube (if I remember right youtube is the second most used search engine after google or some such...).
Anyway, I have done a bit of editing (mostly video), it can be done with the free programs like windows movie maker or iMovie quite easily. If you have concrete questions about it, feel free to ask.

Very cool. It is good to know you have the wisdom for this. I will probably need your knowledge later.
Eventually, I want to have this stuff on itunes, paetron, twitch etc.
