What a cheery fucking topic!
In this campaign, death may occur a lot more often.
To the same character.
Dying will be a pain in the ass for a couple of reasons. One of which is that it will be a variable length 'time out' for the player. I'd like to do it a different way however I'm not clever enough to think of one. I am confident that once the players figure out how I'm doing death (it's not that difficult to figure out - people are dying to know... OK - well, it might be difficult to figure out if the players don't die but if they don't, they won't need to figure out how it works, right?) they will take steps to minimize how long the live person has a 'time out'. I can see it easily being under a minute.
Unless you've annoyed your party - then it's nothing to do with me.
Remember - possessions are fleeting.

Except that if our characters have no reason to believe we can magically kumbaya our buddies back to life, we'll never try.
Safety tip: Don't die. Or do so in a way that is exciting, memorable, or fulfilling. Otherwise the death is a boring waste of story.

Oh - and if the PC's sit around singing "kumbaya" after someone dies, that will be great.

It's better if they do it before.
Travis, Richard, and Pete all start singing kumbaya very softly, looking straight at Jamas. Jamas, "Uh....guys..."
