Travis brought up an interesting question the other day and now that I've had enough rum, I will try to answer it.
What will the game be like?
Logan world stuff mixed with Inception, the Matrix, Sliders and other stuff. Possibly as much as I can get away with.

For context, I recommended Logan come up with a blurb to describe his game because I was having a hard time wrapping my head around exactly what the campaign would be about. Recent posts would suggest I'm not the only one.
Instead of saying "exploring and shit" I suggested something that captures more of a theme and gives context. Star Trek is just "exploring" but when you say,
"Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before!"
-I feel you get a better idea of what types of stories you'll be telling, what types of characters fit, and what type of theme/tone you'll be playing in. Furthermore, it's exciting.

Multi-dimensional explorers?
Like space the final frontier - but you've got all these other dimensions...

Still, I'm thinking like all my games that if the players get into it and do it for a bit it gets better over time. Like all the rum I've just drank.

I'd asked a friend who knows about the campaign and has been feeding me some ideas on it for a blurb.
They thought about it for awhile and said "Um. That's a tough one."
So it's not just me. They couldn't come up with one either.

"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." - Albert Einstein
Could it be that you are designing a setting and haven't gotten to designing the campaign part yet (i.e. even you don't know what the campaign is going to be about, you just know it's in this setting)?

...No.
I've got a clear idea of what the overarching story line is.
Now I'm not sure what the players will do with that information.
I'm working on developing the area of play as well as some smaller story arcs now.
Lots of small story arcs is what I'm after. The players may or may not get involved with them. Might just hear about them. I'd like to have more 'background jabber' in this campaign that may or may not have anything to do with what the players are doing.
"Did you hear about Captain Tomorrow? He ate the Chrysler building!"
This may just be random conversation or the PC's may say "Good to know." or possibly "Shut yer face old man!"
I'm now rambling.
