After watching the rate at which the players had accumulated 'banked' Hero points during S1, I have made it easier to get extra special stuff with them - but a goodly way.
New table:
HERO POINTS Created Wednesday 21 December 2016
Once they finish a mission and are awarded HERO POINTS, anything over 20 gets sucked away and put into their bank.
'Siphoned HERO POINTS' is never 'spent' or 'deducted' - subtraction would only weaken your character. Instead, the players attempt to build up to higher levels.
50 Tier 1 power (roll at random, stymied - no HERO POINTS) 100 Tier 2 power (roll at random, stymied - no HERO POINTS) 150 Tier 3 power (roll at random, stymied - no HERO POINTS)
200 Tier 1 power (roll at random, may spend HERO POINTS; title only given, not description) 250 Tier 2 power (roll at random, may spend HERO POINTS; title only given, not description) 300 Tier 3 power (roll at random, may spend HERO POINTS; title only given, not description)
400 Tier 1 power (pick one; title only given, not description) 500 Tier 2 power (pick one; title only given, not description) 600 Tier 3 power (pick one; title only given, not description)
After this maybe continue letting them pick a new power from whatever tier for every hundred extra HERO POINTS till they collect them all?
