Didn't want to spend time looking through all of the cards that don't pertain to the current campaign and put on them 'redraw if not applicable to the current campaign' though I will get around to that eventually.

so.... i was curious... the magic item card and book go away cards.... they come up often and the PC's barely have had many of either of these... i get them in the old campaign... but now? Was a thought... now we start amassing treasure... sure... but... between zones shit disappears reappears.... bleh

True - however there are a lot of different magic items lying around.
Also, I'd get use to things disappearing and reappearing between zones and stuff. Pete has figured out a way to deal with it. I'm sure you can too. (Or talk to Pete.)

I know of certain circumstances where things disappearing may not be permanent, however I do not know of a full proof method of stopping items from going, otherwise I would not have lost my magic dagger.

Consider everything temporary but knowledge the player has of the campaign world.
Hum. Maybe I was thinking of Matt or Chris for this. Pretty much the only way to 'protect' one good magic item is to have a shitload of bad magic items.

right.... okay... just seems like doing silly shit to protect the 1 or 2 items.... think it takes away from the game IMO... but... I shall do these things...

Part of the recurring theme of this game is 'possessions are fleeting and not to be relied upon'.
Also, even having a bunch of magic items (as it has been already seen) may not help if you go through a gate - all that stuff may disappear.
