Question - you know that people can't play a skill +15% and a skill +5% on the same action, yes? (Matt didn't - dude's been playing over a decade and he didn't know that).
Now here's a new and different question -
Is that worth keeping in? How often does someone have two skill +15% or a skill 15% and a skill 20%? Does it really matter if they blow it all on the same roll? Cards be gone then and most people who GM this system (in the few times I've gotten to play) don't remember to award cards very often.

I forgot that as well. I don't think it matters if they are stacked. Sort of fits in with how the worlds/realms work in regards to PCs instantaneously learning a skill in anything. That occasionally a PC will get an temporary skill boost.

True.
Everyone knows that if you spend a skill card and miss it then spend a HERO Point - then the benefit of the cards is lost for your next attempt, yes?
