PC’s who develop a TBD spell pick it up (at learn) without the need to roll a critical as reward for making the spell.

Just if you already have that spell line? Or out of nowhere?

If you have that spell line and are needing to pick up the next spell. It basically is just saving you from having to roll a crit. If someone makes a spell for some other line they don't have (and if it gets approved) I'm happy to stick their name on it so if it ever becomes the next spell they could get, bam, they can get it.

So if Glenn manages to get the other 8 spells in the pocket chain first, he can have Extradimensional Lost & Found as a freebie?

Yes - if I ended up using that - I'll have to check but hell yes if I did once you get there then you'll just pick it up. So when you get to the rank before it, poof - it appears in your known list.

Extradimensional Lost & Found Casting time: 5 rounds Range: self Duration: instantaneous MP cost: 6mp
[GM note: Scott gets this spell FREE.]
You pick someone's extradimensional pocket. Roll Luck x5 to draw a non-weapon object typical of it's kind (not a specific item) of your choice from out of sight. Failure on Luck means you get something funny/unwanted/useless/incriminating/san-draining (up to the GM)
The drawn object must weight 1kg or less and be able to be hidden under a normal trench coat.
