What we have so far:
Blurred vision -> darkness -> TBD -> Dark Vision -> TBD -> hide in shadows -> hide them in shadows -> area darkness -> TBD -> Shadow Walking
Ideas
Animate shadows - shadows get decidedly hostile and swarm over someone. Maybe to hold them still, maybe to do them damage, maybe to kill them and make the body (with all their treasure) disappear. (See also, movie 'Ghost').
Darkness infusion - infuse a weapon with darkness - gives you a dice up, maybe two dice up if you are fighting ‘light’ creatures.
For all the spells, shadows will be needed to make them work. If the caster is in a well lit room, they’re just fucked.
I bring this up because I can guarantee that this tree will become important to the characters next season.
IF YOU HAVE SPECIFIC IDEAS FOR SPELLS PLEASE MAKE A SEPARATE THREAD FOR EACH. DON'T JUST STICK THEM HERE.

In something such as a well lit room, outside on a sunny day etc could the caster make use of their own shadow or the shadow of another person/object to cast one of these spells?

No - they need a 'murky' or 'shadowy' area.
Note - pretty sure 'blurred vision' works about anywhere but the rest either need heavier shadows (twilight or better) to either work or be useful. (Dark vision won't help if you are not in that dark of place.)
