Ready Spell Casting time: Free action (only as part of casting another spell) Range: Self Duration: Until sunup/sundown MP cost: 2 The target spell is cast, but doesn't take effect until you say the magic word. (Pick a word.) Note that the spell will go off unintentionally if you say the word accidentally. "That was OOC" is not an excuse.
You can only have ONE of these at a time, MP cost 4.

Looks good to me.

The ready spell is 1 round to cast. What does this part you added mean?

When you have a spell 'ready to go' then do it, the doing of it takes one round to make rocket go.

When you have a spell 'ready to go' then do it, the doing of it takes one round to make rocket go. Well what does it do then? Why would spend 8 MP and risk an extra chance to fumble then? I guess you can do a longer casting time spell in one action, but we already have Rapid Spell. It does minutes/hours spells faster, but that wasn't really what I had envisioned for the spell. So it seems we could go a few ways here. a)Delete Rapid Spell and replace it with this "Cast any spell in 1 action." b)Say Rapid Spell is good as is and delete this one. c)Rewrite this one as intended, free action cast, but limited to 1 action cast time spells. (I suspect you're trying to avoid this for some reason, but TBH I don't think it will get used much at 8mp since we're not making "I win" spells to pair it with...and even if we did, no one would have the MP to do both.)

8 mp might be worth it for a free/non action spell (as originally written), but if you really want to keep it as revised (only useful for having a longer cast time spell as 1 action) then maybe reduce the MP cost to 2 so it's just meh instead of terrible.
Even at 2 mp, I'm thinking you'd really have to go out of your way to find any use for it.

I think (as last written) it is not a generally useful spell but for spells that have a very long casting time it is da bomb.
Not all spells should be good for all things.
