Okay, so the door to the C&C room is now locked with an electronic lock (nothing in there Kinley can use, so I hope that's fine). The combo is blah. The combo will be changed later and disseminated when everyone's phones are encrypted.
We checked the footage, and some plain, inconspicuous people (other than the fact that they were in the house) placed rather sophisticated smurfs in the room to smurf our activities.
RF scanner says it's a burst transmit, every couple of hours, probably to a relay station because it only had a range of 1-2km.
We left the smurfs, so they may not know we're on to them. You can possibly use those smurfs to spread disinformation, or to track down the listening station and deal with whoever it is.
There are also homeless people smurfing on the sofa, so don't sit there.
Garden gnomes continue to show up regularly at the mansion. Poppa smurf is missing.
This is all in the Gotham city zone.
I am attempting to make it more hospitable for our group in Gotham, but it's going to be more difficult than I thought.

I fully intend to properly secure the mansion in future, provided nobody has any issues with that. I am the new guy after all and I don't know if it was purposely left as a do-whatever-the-hell-you-want buffet that anyone can just waltz into. Er, sorry if I come off a little condescending. I'm very serious when it comes to security and making sure you don't get caught.
In the meantime, be careful what you say in the mansion. It's bugged (which is what I'm assuming Rock meant when he says Smurf) and they've probably done this before as they seemed very familiar with the layout of the mansion. The bugs' batteries only last a few days, so they might be back soon to replace them. I highly recommend you check the security tapes whenever you enter the Mansion, and also make sure they haven't been tampered with.
To-do list:
- Encrypt security tapes. - Setup a secure backup to the cloud of all tapes, uploaded automatically periodically. - Properly secure all entry points, including putting on proper locks and what have you. - Install a silent alarm system that is triggered when someone breaks in without entering the proper password. Alternatively, instead of a password system, install a biometrics security system, including things such as DNA, fingerprint and retina scanners. -- If alarm is triggered, send an automated alert to everyone's interdimensional phones? Or call police? Or both? Or something else? Needs further discussion. - Setup an ultra-secured room in case of emergencies where privacy is of the essence. Include some sort of Faraday cage to block out all radio transmissions. - Setup a backup power generator in case of a power failure, otherwise security will be useless without power. Obviously, locks will still work. - Work on securing the perimeter a bit more. Have not explored outside the mansion yet. - What the bloody hell is up with the bear trap upstairs?

Fuck. We never did it. I will make sure it happens next time I'm by the mansion. If I remember. Which I won't. Did I mention there are homeless people smurfing on the sofa?
