Do we need this bit? You reach 90% of terminal velocity in just 8 seconds of falling. There shouldn't be much survivability difference in falling 200m and falling 20km.
...
Should probably add "if the falling damage would be lethal, then roll endurance..."

Should probably add "if the falling damage would be lethal, then roll endurance..." I think that's exactly what Logan wants to avoid – falling 20 km and surviving. Hence the spell only works up to 200m. Calculation example www.angio.net/personal/climb/speed.html : Height in meters 200 Mass in kg 80 Speed at impact:62.61 m/s or225.40 km/h Time until impact: 6.39 s Energy at impact: 156800.00 joules

Okay, let's compare:
Height in meters 20000 Mass in kg 80
Speed at impact:626.10 m/s or2253.96 km/h Time until impact: 63.89 s Energy at impact: 15680000.00 joules
Huh? That's obviously impossible!
Oh, wait:
Now go back and compare the quoted 200m fall speed at impact and the quoted low end of terminal velocity.
Speed at impact:62.61 m/s or 225.40 km/h vs If you're lying belly-to-the-earth, you'll only travel about 195 km/h
Thus I repeat, there shouldn't be much survivability difference in falling 200m and falling 20km. And I will add to clarify: if there is a difference, it is due to positioning, not fall height.

I'm OK with this:
Earthfall (earth tree) [Credit: Chris, Alex, Scott]
Range: Self Casting Time: Instant MP Cost: 10 Duration: One fall
When you cast this spell and then hit the ground (maximum of 200m - anything beyond that this spell will have no effect on), make a Constitution/Endurance roll at Half or -30. If you succeed, you instead drop to 0 HP and are unconscious. If you fail, you die unless you roll two 01s in a row.

I'd have to side with Scott on this one. The science checks out. But I can also see it from Logan's perspective in terms of game balance.

Above 200m, you can wear a parachute.

It's an Earth spell, not a parachute spell, so I don't see how that's relevant.

Under 200m, use this. Above and I don't want to take away from the parachute skill.

Under 200m, use this. Above and I don't want to take away from the parachute skill. I can't see it taking away from parachute skill. The chances of anyone improving the spell above learn is extremely small compared to having parachute skill or improving it due to cards, starting with the skill etc.
