Name: Ignore temperature
Casting time: 1 minute Range: self Duration: sunrise/sunset MP cost: 4mp
Description: From the burning desert to the arctic wasteland that is Canada, you are able to ignore temperature. If someone throws a cold spell at you or you fall into liquid hot magma you take every bit of the damage but can laugh as you die horribly.

Might want to add "you can withstand the effects of extreme temperatures" as one could interpret this as just a way of ignoring the fact that you are hot but still suffering the effects of the heat.

Isn't that what it says in the spell description or did I word it badly? If so, can you reword it to be more obvious?

you could futher break it down to fire/ice tree and make it a part of the elemental attunement spells... so ignore cold: ignore cold and -1 dice to that damage and ignore fire: same

Hum. We could but that would mean that essentially nobody would have access to this spell until they reached 'Enhanced Elemental Attunement (Day)'.
I was hoping to make this a much lower level spell.

Also ignore skill penalties for being too hot/cold? (Curse that Canadian ladder to Burlington!)

Also ignore skill penalties for being too hot/cold? (Curse that Canadian ladder to Burlington!) The ladder problem is because it's slick from condensation due to the meeting of warm and cold. I don't normally assign a lot of negatives for hot or cold.

"Ignore Temperature" still groks as fireproof etc.
I would call it Endure Environment, or maybe Endure Weather if you're willing to make it a little more general.
