I went through the Fallout perks and added a couple of those (kind of) to the Matrix Powers.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a list of 'once per adventure' type powers or something like that I could go through.
If anyone has any ideas of stuff online, please put in the links and I'll check it out when I have some time.

I got this idea from an ability in D&D (the divination wizard has it).
When the adventure starts, roll 3d100. Save your results. Any time before the end of the adventure, you may substitute ANY d100 roll with one of the results that you rolled earlier. Mark off the used roll.
Example: the adventure starts and you roll 28, 46, 92. Sometime later you attempt a stealth check and fail it. You decide to use one of your saved rolls and choose the 46, turning it into a normal success. Sometime later on, an enemy critically hits you. You decide to turn that crit into a miss and use your 92 result. Of course, if the enemy has a 92+ skill, you just wasted your ability.

If keeping track of 3 rolls is considered bookkeeping, then I have little hope for anyone trying to keep track of the storyline in the campaign

True - but I think people have enough on their plate.
I thought there were also (in D&D?) some once per adventure powers, etc - where are those sorts of things?

Eh it's mostly a "once per day" feature in D&D, though I suppose that can be translated to once per session for this campaign. Example: once per day, you can cast the invisibility spell on yourself without expending a spell slot or needing material components. Not really sure what else would translate well. One of my favourite (unofficial) classes in 5e is the Mystic, because you can basically pick and choose abilities to create the kind of class you want instead of being bogged down with only a few choices every time. There's some pretty neat things there. Here's the link if you want to have a look at it. media.wizards.com/2017/dnd/downloads/UAMystic3.pdfI have no experience with the other editions. They have a lot more to offer but I've never played them. 2e is probably the most convoluted when it comes to spells and abilities.

Holy shit I'm glad we don't have all that kind of crap in this game!

Yes the mystic is by far the most convoluted class in 5e in my opinion and I love it.

I'd rather have convoluted plot than rules. No 'rules lawyering' goes on. Repeated stops to look up some obscure rule never happen.
