Firewall
Casting time: 1 rnd Range: 30m Duration: 1 minute MP cost: 6mp
You create a thin shimmering curtain of fire up to 10m tall by 30m wide. Anything passing through this "wall" takes d6 fire damage.

Can I suggest renaming it to Wall of Fire so as to not be confused with the already-existing Tech spell Firewall? Also it'd be neat if you could create a ring of fire around yourself as well as a wall.
Name: Wall of Fire
Casting time: 1 rnd Range: 30m Duration: 1 minute MP cost: 6mp
You create a thin, shimmering curtain of fire up to 10m tall by 30m wide. Anything passing through this "wall" takes d6 fire damage. You may also create a ring of fire around yourself up to a 30m circumference. If cast in very cold environments, such as the Arctic, the damage dealt is reduced by one bump and the size is halved (5m/15m).

I think that casting the wall in a ring would be part of a mini-tree off of the wall of fire spell. Also, I'd go with a much smaller wall of fire say 2m high, 4m length.
Bigger ones can also be part of the branch.
Also put in that - like other spells - it will not catch shit on fire.
No to the environmental stuff - too finicky.

4m is barely a simple action to move around. How about 2m/6m?

The clever thing to do is to use the low level wall of fire to do things like block off hallways, doorways, etc.

I added this because people who are good at tactics may find ways of pushing things back through the wall of fire, etc.
I may also lower the damage to d4 for the first layer then up it as you climb up the rungs.
Ring will probably stay at that size but the length of the wall of fire may increase with higher level spells.
Decreased the range mightily.

2 meters is short enough that it could be realistically high-jumped over by a human. So I don't like that. 4m also doesn't feel long enough. Hardly a wall...more like a shield.
...
I see now that I was thinking in feet when I wrote the original. 10m x 30m would be friggin huge. I was going for 10' x 30'. Which we could call 3m x 10m for the game

A vertical jump of more than a non-basketball playing human height? Don't think so.
Also, as to 4m, it makes the spell something to use more tactically. See above when I said "The clever thing to do is to use the low level wall of fire to do things like block off hallways, doorways, etc."

Well, I'd suggest not using that particular spell if you come up against a group of high jumpers.
Against normal foes (unless they can fly) you should be just fine.
Different spells should have different downsides.

Example: The caster makes a wall in a 3m wide corridor. The wall will only be 3m wide - one meter will not be sticking out into a random room.
